defrag should work to what ever memory constraints it
has to deal with. if you have 64 it'll take longer but
it should plough through eventually .. unless
obviously like the guys said before the memory is bad
itself.
if it keeps restarting though run scandisk before you
do the defrag make sure there are no bad sectors
or dodgeyt areas on the disk also disable any screen
savers and av software if it restarts because of these
though it should pick up where it left off when it
goes back to it
